Abstract

^{This thesis analyzes social solidarity among street vendors around Taman Batu 10 using a descriptive approach that focuses on the relationship between vendors and one another. The purpose of this study is to find out how social solidarity is established between street vendors so that they can maintain the economy in meeting their daily needs and describe the supporting factors for the formation of social solidarity among street vendors. The approach used in this study is a qualitative method. The theory used is social solidarity by Emile Durkheim. The data obtained from the interview process carried out by researchers directly went down to the field. Interviews with 10 people who have been selected according to the criteria were carried out before going to the field. The results of the study show that there is an equal division of labor in the activities of street vendors, namely trading together. So the level of dependence among traders is low. Second, having repressive rules, namely mutual agreements built to achieve common goals. If there is a problem in the group of street vendors, the sanctions given are very pressing, such as members who break the rules will be expelled from the group of traders. third, collective awareness, namely the sense of awareness of street vendors in paying retribution fees such as paying cleaning fees, electricity money. Fourth, the emotion of homogeneity in the street vendor group, namely the sense that is built in establishing togetherness among the street vendors. The forms of homogeneity emotions are familiarity, such as doing the August 17 competition in Trikora. togetherness such as holding mutual cooperation activities, visiting people who are sick.}
